Banning phone use while driving – regulations
The Traffic Law refers to talking on the phone in Article 45 of the Law; The driver of a vehicle is prohibited:

In June 2015, regulations on phone use while driving were tightened. Currently, such an offense will result in a fine of 200 zlotys and 5 penalty points. It doesn’t matter whether we held the phone to our ear or in our hand – the punishment remains the same. So what is allowed? We can use the phone in a vehicle that is not moving – whether we are standing at a traffic light or in a parking lot. However, we must put the phone down before moving on. Instead, we can use the phone, which is attached to the dashboard, to carry on a conversation , “on the speaker”, through headphones or with a hands-free set.

If we often talk on the phone in the car, it’s worth investing in equipment that will allow us to do so comfortably and safely.
